Hollie Dickson 2nd day in Ireland
Today was an incredible day. It started out when we got to go visit the museum. At the museum we learned about Lady Gregory and how she used to have her guests sign a tree. One of her guests to sign the tree was W.B. Yeats, who was considered one of the best poets that ireland has ever hosted. After we went to Coole park to see the signed tree, we went to Casidy's cafe to have tea and scones. This was the first time I have ever had a scone and it was amazing! I am now addicted to tea and scones. After we ate at Cassidy's we spent a lot of time investigating the Burren, which is where there are a lot of indigenous rock formations. Then we went to the Cliffs of Moore which was my favorite part of the day. At the cliffs I got to see a castle, and take some truly breath-taking (literally) pictures! Now we are having desert at a really nice restaurant that over looks the Atlantic Ocean. Tonight I look forward to going to the pubs again, this time with more people and hopefully get to see live Irish music being played. That is all for today lads tune in tomorrow for more about my wonderful time in Ireland!
