Day 5 & 6-HIllary

I.love.Scotland.

After a quite frightening flight to Edinburgh, we boarded some taxis and drove off to our hotel, Ibis which is beautiful and quirky, right in the middle of Edinburgh.

We had a somewhat calm evening and ate at a perfect Italian restaurant. After some much needed rest, we were off yesterday to explore this vibrant city. We visited the Old Moray House which is the oldest building on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. It's home to an education college but was first built in the 1600s to battle disease and tenaments with a type of aristocratic movement. It was extremely interesting and I enjoyed it very much.

After walking some more and eating lunch at a local spot, we stopped by the National Museum of Scotland where I learned that 440 million years ago, Scotland was at the equator and had a tropical climate before moving further and connecting with other countries to form Europe.

I had a wonderful experience later on the ghost your where I learned a lot about Scottish history and how much inventions they were actually responsible for such as pain relievers! Thank God for those on this trip.

We are off to start our new day. Can't wait to see the Castle!
