Today I woke up bright and early but with a lot more energy then I had yesterday. We had breakfast in the dinning area of our hotel and it was delicious! From there we were off and I had the most incredible experiences. First we went to the Gregory Mausoleum. We got to see priceless artifacts of W.B. Yeats and Lady Gregory. A short distance down the road I got to experience the beautiful qualities of Coole Park and the signatures of different literary figures who carved their initials into the tree. After, I tried my first authentic scone and has a cup of delicious hot chocolate. We then got to walk along the Cliffs of Moher. I can't even put into words how absolutely breath taking and beautiful it was. We ended the day with an Atlantic Coastline drive followed by a delicious dinner on the water.
Ireland put simply is breathing taking but it is really more than that. There is so much history here and it is beyond fascinating getting to experience it and learn about it. This county has so much to offer and I could spend the rest of my days learning and never get tired.
My dear travelers!! I'm following along from Italy! How wonderful to read your observations. I'm so pleased that you're enjoying yourselves and learning.
