All Good Things Must Come to An End - Nicole Linkes

Is it really over? I think we all have asked ourselves or each other that question today. This trip has allowed for so many unforgettable and amazing opportunities. We have learned about the vast history, culture and literature of Ireland and Scotland. Things were never knew or got to expand our knowledge on. We have seen castles, climbed mountain tops, tried so many new things, asked questions, talked with locals, played traditional Irish games, learned a lot about ourselves and to top it off we've learned what it means to pick each other up or cheer each other on when maybe we thought that there was something we couldn't do. We've bonded in such a way that doesn't always happen on trips. I think I can truly say each of us is walking away from this experience with a new group of friends. Ask me would I do it all over again? I would answer yes, in a heartbeat tenfold. Thank you to the professors on this trip, you have made every moment memorable. And thank you La Roche because without this opportunity to study abroad I probably would have never been able to have experiences like these. Cheers and much love from across the pond.
