Day 2--Erin Parkinson

What an experience today! I learned new things about W.B. Yeats and saw a replica of how a small school room in Ireland used to look. I took some great pictures there of artifacts from Yeats' life as well as lady Gregory's. From there we went to the autograph tree that had many names carved into it including W.B. Yeats'.

It was a great, little serene park and the tree was beautiful. The scone and tea at Cassidy's for lunch was so delicious.

The best part of the day was seeing the Cliffs of Moher. It was absolutely stunning. The ocean was so many colors of blue and white. Far from the cliff it was a deep blue color, then came into a greenish teal color to turning pearly white as it crashed into the bottom of the cliffs. The water was gorgeous and the cliffs were rocky and different shapes.

Even though it was very windy at some times it was still and incredible experience. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. The chicken and vegetables and potatoes tasted incredible. I can't wait to experience the days coming and get to Dublin tomorrow!
