Rita's Day 2

Today made up for the first day with beautiful, sunny weather. Absolute perfect day for sightseeing!

The first stop of the day was Dunguaire Castle, which is right outside of Kinvara the village in Galway where we stayed.

From the castle, we ventured to the Gregory Museum, that had history of Madame Gregory and famous poet W.B. Yeats. There, we saw different pieces of furniture and artifacts from Madame Gregory's home as well as what a classroom used to look like.

After, we traveled to see the famous Signature Tree. This beautiful, red tree has names that were carved into its trunk by famous poets and authors; number ten is W.B. Yeats.

For an afternoon pick-me-up we enjoyed delicious tea and scones at Cassidy's and were able to relax to a beautiful backdrop.

Finally, we traveled to the Cliffs of Moher to get a beautiful view of the oceans, the very green cliffs, and a castle located at the high point of Moher.

The sun stayed perfect until the bus home when the rain finally began to make an appearance.

After a long day of picture taking and sightseeing, its time to enjoy a delicious dinner and roam through Kinvara another night.

Until tomorrow, cheers everyone!
