Alyssa- day 7- Scotland!

Well today was the day I've been waiting for! We finally got to see the Edinburgh Castle. While it was terribly cold and rainy my expectations were fully met. It was such a beautiful and powerful sight!
We even got to see the changing of the guards which was AMAZING! I found it so interesting because I have seen the U.S. Changing of the guards at the tomb of the unknown soldier so I was able to see many similarities and yet a few differences.
Inside the castle my criminal justice interests were met when I visited the dungeons and prisons...AWESOME. Definitely one of the highlights for me. Tonight we went to see The King's Speech which I wasn't too sure about but I fell in love with the story and the actors and even shed a tear at the end. It was a beautiful story and I love that it was also a true story, making the history buff in me happy. Thinking about renting the movie when I get back to the states. Only one more day left and my study abroad will be complete! Here's to a great last day!
